Conference Day At School
Conference day
Some leave happy
Excited, thrilled.
High fiving their teachers,
Loving them still.
Twirling and whirling
A dancing drill.
Others leave unhappy,
Decidedly sad,
Protruded upper lip,
Frowny forehead, acting all big and bad.
Angry eyes,
Completely surprised,
After their mean teacher
Spread her lies.
