Concrete Roots

I feel like a tree
That has grown into a wall
Unable to branch out
Pushing against blocks
Stacked up

I’m bound in stone
With heavy roots
So we both can exist
And not have to fall

"I’m bound in stone with heavy roots" At least you are grounded, and that is wonderful in every way. Your thoughts caress softly around me and my heart. This is so beautifully written and presented. My best to you. :) Brandy
