Concision

A lot of folks use many fine words.
They might as well be tweeting like birds
for all of the things that they say.
I can't grasp the meaning they convey.
Whereas my conscience strictly confines
me to say nothing in only six lines.

Perhaps, David, your poems may be the best received because of their brevity and levity!

haha, this poem was kind of a self-parody, because I think of a lot of my poems, especially the short ones, as being a bit lightweight, not containing a lot of meaning, so my silver-lining is that at least it's concise. My book will be called "How to Say Nothing in Only Six Lines: Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained" - LOL
