Compunction
The exemplar compunction of sorts released
Exhumed from the shambles of the mind diseased
By the comrade trusted with all dear life
Even after death to care for his wife
Bonds and bridges tightened and fastened
Steady paced breaths and healing hastened
Prevailing fellowship pronounced as light
Nothing worth losing without an even flight
Streaming change will not address
The questions of life brushing distress
After all has been said and all has been done
The true test of character has only begun
