Comprehending God
God is as complex as the universe,
He guides us with excellence.
The tasks he sets for us at different ages,
You receive with honor and respect.
As a senior he encourages us to be brave,
Coping well with aging.
Your relatives and friends are living their lives,
You continue to set goals for yourself.
You like the fact that you have been blessed,
Art,poetry, vocal and piano music.
God has seen you through difficulties,
Seen you through a beautiful marriage and divorce.
Days with relatives and friends, reunions and friendship days,
God is always there guiding us with honor.
Church days now retired fulfilling and enhancing,
With friends for awhile, good memories forever etched in my mind.
