Complicated Simplicity
She’s fighting me all the way.
She won’t hear it.
It’s a definite detriment,
to the spirit.
Perhaps it’s the way
I’m presenting it,
She wastes our time,
just resenting it.
The Lord somehow
Has me in training,
and uses these heartaches,
for explaining.
“There, there now,
My little fool,
It’s so simple,
My Golden Rule.”
