Complicated Life
When the sun becomes your enemy.
Unbearable amounts of pain exist within the realm of beauty.
Choices to be forgiven fall in every tear shed.
Letting go, holding on, stranded in confusions grasp.
Running so quickly back to the beginning, tears falling in slow motion.
Time is not your healer, but your perpetrator.
Hardening wrongs, turning every tear into horror.
Forced to watch, forced to feel.
The river runs dry when the ticking stops.
Wearily traveling in desperation to an end that does not live.
Life is a cruel gift, giving and taking but never explaining.
Feeble it knows us, lessons you didn't ask to learn.
We desperately seek answers we already know.
The stars are pulling the strings, beyond your reflection lies it's purpose.
Simplicity has laid the path we complicate with luxuries of guilt and grudges.
Living so extravagantly removes you from truth,
turning you away from the freedom of your self.
