Compassion

Compassion wipes the tears away
No matter if friend or foe
He lends a hand when all seems lost
To a stranger He don't know

Compassion feeds a hungry soul
Who's somehow lost their way
He picks them up when they fall down
And gives them a place to stay

Compassion feels a broken heart
When no one seems to care
He offers a shoulder to cry on
With plenty of love to spare

Compassion teaches forgiveness
To turn the other cheek
He humbles those who think they're strong
Gives strength unto the weak

Compassion left His throne above
To find that which was lost
Compassion heard a sinner's prayer
Then come to pay the cost
