Companion
By my side always
eager to play and frollic
agreeable always go going for walks
as much sniffing goes on over and under the leaves that hang over
the sidewalk
even in the pounding rain
she is agreeable
doing her daily constitution around the block
constant companion
always with love sparkling in her eyes
and at night
this little bundle
lays against my legs keeping me warm
we are pals
in it for each other
as life goes on.
