Common Senses

I can write word after word line after line
But if you have not heard all is not fine
I can recite Scripture and tell of Parables
That's not a cure it's not found in syllables

Recalling every sign each step of my way
All the faults of mine that keep me away
So useless would it be if you can't see
So pointless a decree if you aren't free

If I were to touch but you could not feel
For naught is such, if to you it's not real
But it is not I, in fact, it is not me at all
For I can't deny that this is of His Call

As it is His Word as it is His Glorious Day
And He who has stirred in this such way
But it is you who in turn must respond
It's all you need do to start such a bond
