I'm concerned for the health of Common Sense,
She's notably missing when needed most.
And though Her absence comes at our expense,
no one can fill Her shoes, not even close.
She used to reign in anger, hate, and greed,
but lately, She has been failing to show.
I pray for her recovery, indeed
if she is still alive, I'd like to know.
She can untangle impossible knots;
after all, Common Sense overrides lies.
She's silent, so I'm connecting the dots
maybe that's why anarchy's on the rise.
