Common Dissimilarity Unravelled

Common Dissimilarity Unravelled

Feeling and reason structure or stream of consciousness
Unshackled without proposed structure or bound kindly by form
Held together by strings attached detached a bundle of yarn

A mosaic woven a carpet of dreams or maybe one thread
One fibre a singular thought expressed shared and proposed
Differences that unbind us waiting to be cherished as similar

A script an ink pen on paper who is a poet what’s in a name
One statement variation themes union digression convergence
Connotations associated episodes simplicity or epic proportions

Is a single word poetry with meaning appended does a truth only
Reside in contorted convulsions of a complex convoluted mind
Does an empty page in a book qualify if not quantify in sophistication

Everyone has a story to tell to share narrate withhold or suggest
As poet trees in motion follow thunderous rapture burnt into pages
And repose peacefully alongside the soothing meditation in silence

Can lines erased on a leaf crossed out and crossed over convey
Substance just the same as the long winding journey with signposts
At diversions of loops hoops circuits and obstacles guiding the path

We are very much the same however we tread whether we stumble
Stand tall fly high to find roots or lay our foundations into the sky
Variant equal beautiful and one way or other finding our voice
