Commitmentphobe
The peace I wanted, it had felt so right,
My deepest desire, still aching for more.
My head on your lap reading till midnight,
A moment with you found what I searched for.
In the darkest night my dreams are with you.
A million miles away still you haunt me,
The ghost of your touch that felt so true.
Once more you abandon what we could be.
I thought we had found something truly real,
In this world filled with lies and hypocrites.
Third times the charm, again I'll let it heal.
The truth hides behind all of your secrets.
Instead of success you forced it to fail
I always knew you'd be the first to bail.
