Notes About The Poem

A non-contest poem.

Commitment

A bond we pledge, both firm and true,
Through the trials vast and fleeting days,
To walk the path as chosen few,
A bond we pledge, both firm and true.
Through storm and calm, we still renew,
Our steadfast vows, life's tangled maze,
A bond we pledge, both firm and true,
Through the trials vast and fleeting days.

The pledge to walk the path together through life's tangled maze should be held firm and true. That's our commitment. Great Triolet.

Jay, your writing is just so beautiful. The value of preserving one's pledge is often overlooked.
