Comments

I just posted a poem and went to reply and it says commenting turned off, when I haven't done anything with the features. Sorry. I went to my home page and it says commenting is turned on. I don't know what is going on. Update: I have contacted soup. This commenting problem is continuing. Just to let you know, it changes ongoing with numerous poems. One minute, comments will show and then quickly it will say commenting is 'turned off' when it isn't and I can't see anything. Also, some poems will show comments on and others will show commenting turned off. It varies and goes back and forth consistently. So, I haven't turned off commenting if you see this, but I see it on my end and can't reply when it happens. Thanks Heidi

I often have a problem when clicking the boxes for categories - I click but it does not register. It is so frustrating to try to post a poem six to ten times; this happens to me and it puts me over the edge of irritable, I hope this commenting problems has been fixed Heidi.

Oh, I completely understand what that is like. When I was using the data on my phone for Soup, that was happening and trying to post a poem that many times is beyond frustrating. I hope it gets better for you. This new issue here, seems to have resolved for now. Thankfully :)

Dearest Heidi, I do not know what is going on but things seem not to be done as in the past! For instance, I try to edit old poems but cannot. Now sometimes see that three people have commented but only one comment appears. Here, now I do not see a poem of yours, just your notes! Sorry! Hugs xxx

I wonder if this has been brought to the attention of those responsible at the sight. Today 34 people have visited my poem and only one comment appears while when I tried to edit my poem it indicated I had three comments. Hope they fix the problem for it is unfair not to reply to our friends that comment on our poems. Hugs xxx

Hi Demetrios. That is odd. I hadn't heard of those additional problems happening too! I didn't write a poem on this entry. I was just letting people know that I keep seeing commenting turned off on my poems and when I do, I can't reply. It was going on and off like that. Thank you for your info :)

Ok. Thank you Sandy. For right now, I can get into the comments on this poem. It varies poem to poem and at different times, but hopefully it is getting resolved. I appreciate it :)

Now, it is working again. I don't know what is happening. It appears to go on and off.
