Coming of the Entitled One

What gain is reaped in war's cruel strife? What honor does it truly crown? When the lives of our kin, precious and rife, Are silenced, and hope is torn down. In ruins, we hear someone sobbing, Loved ones lie lifeless, a tragic cost, Wars waged by kings, their minds robbing, Claiming innocence, but lives are lost. Dominion, power, earthly pursuits, Wealth, pride, and prestige they chase, Their solemn oath, to conquer and loot, While nations crumble, in their embrace. Love's true meaning, they forsake, Invasion, their hearts' dark desire, Tearing apart weak nations, they take, Trading peace for the profit they acquire. From national pride to world command, Hawkish countries seek domination, Enslaving others, expanding their brand, Causing suffering and desolation. Yet, their greed can never be fulfilled, Material wealth, like mist, shall fade, As earthly kings, their dreams are killed, God's final judgment, a debt long unpaid. For in their arrogance, they dare claim, To be gods, rulers of all, But when God Himself returns reclaims, His kingdom on Earth, answering the call. With patience, we prepare for salvation, Avenge the oppressed and oppressed's plea, God, the only true God, and King of creation, Will settle the world's controversy and decree.
