Coming Home

Coming Home

What a wonderful feeling
To get away from the pain
To let my eyes quit shedding rain
All I saw was black
Because my eyes where closed
Now, there open to see
all the evil as it comes at me
I am now aware the deception of man had me blind
But Jesus is now with me to guide
My mind and soul weep for peace
And I have a battle with the beast
But I will have him for a feast
I once lived moment for it’s time
chasing all the world’s delights
I am now aware time will not run out
For we all have an eternal home
Where it is up to us to determine
where we belong
