Coming Home

Although my mind still counts the days, My heart’s already there with you, And has been ever since I stayed, When we were young and love was new I dream about the months ahead, When I can feel your warm embrace; When I can wake up in our bed, And turn my head to see your face I think about the bond we have, And wonder how our love will grow— If I will ever be a dad, And help to build a loving home I think about the tears we’ll shed, And all the laughter that we’ll share, When I come home throughout the years, And always find you waiting there.
