Clinging to intimate family ties Outstretching love the soul never denies My heart yearns for home*, priceless and precious Inspired by dear parents, indeed gracious Now missing great times, spirit-nourishing Geared am I for revival ~~~ flourishing… Braced by secured belongingness fortress Affirming needed respite from distress Comfort of home beckons me along hope Kindling childhood times of triumphant scope… Here am I, yielding to home’s call, so warm Offering peace-filled care of vibrant charm Meeting me just as I am with cheer’s zeal Expecting my presence for bonding seal. *Ruth 1:21 … I went out…, and the LORD hath brought me home again… February 28, 2021 Acrostic in Couplet form
