Girl, I need you to listen
To all that I say
They will send you back on your way
My Comforting Words will
So look at me darling, into my eyes
You never deserved him
There's no need to sympathize
This you must realize
My heart breaks for you
But I'm here for you now and we'll surely get through...
Two hearts beating as one, together
Oh girl just try to remember
That you'll be happy soon
Thanks to Comforting Words
For what I tell you now girl
Will restore your faith in love
Out of your heart to him we will shove
You'll be flying freely, as the dove
And you'll remember my Comforting Words
