Comforting Thoughts

For: Kathy
From: Joy

When I think of you my son
My heart swells with pride
My bosom warms with memories
Of the times that you made me laugh
The funny things you did as a babe
Even the times of tears
I would not exchange
I delight in the thoughts of you
Growing up into a man of good repute
Nothing will take these memories from me
Not even death.
My God has conquered death you see
So you are truly sleeping
And I cuddle these loving memories
Until you awake to sleep no more
Then we will be reunited
To share Heaven's bliss
Always and forever
Mom, with all my love
