Comfortably Numb
Cancerous treason
Of this Human Race
It's what my father
Had to face
Why it fires
No one knows
It gets a grip
And grows and grows
What sets this vengeance
Of Human Life
To take a Husband
Or a Wife
To venture
Take our Children too
In our race
What do we do?
Expenditure helps to cure
Hopefully be so sure
Eradicate this evil C
From all of you and me
All as it can become
Why families are
Comfortably numb
