Comfort Me

I am descending from utopia
Comfort me with your confrontations…
Be my scar and be my lovely flaw
Facing so many sympathetic sensations…

I am ascending from dystopia
Be my shadow and roof over my weary head…
My emotions inside me are deep and raw
I’m filled up with dread and need happiness instead

'...descending from utopia... ascending from dystopia...' I like this subtle, but quite palpable, change in tone. Nice write.
