Comfort Affects Effort
I don’t deal in rushed quotes,
I’d sooner I kissed goats;
Pirates watch spare seen boats;
Claim Rock in water floats…
I’m tied to paradox:
My Pride-of-Barbados,
Sometimes my Forcados,
While my mind is its box…
Now, it’s about Comfort
And its shaper Effort:
Comfort can block Effort,
I mean: check fresh effort,
Jehovah now your Fort…
Good cause to watch comfort
Or you won’t make effort,
Long hours spend on sport,
To tasks fail to report…
Who would dare you report
Hasn’t grabbed the import!
In life labor you’d sought
And now contentment bought!
