Comes Late, Too Often

I write upon steamy window our initials
Reliving your protestations of love
Mindful of your duplicity
All my emotions spent
As each hour passes unfulfilled by your presence
My love for you dissipates day by day

You challenge and frustrate in every way
Just by constantly pressing for acquiescence
Triggers mental torment
Inflamed by electricity
Bodily instinctive as hand in glove
So confirms, whenever scrying through rose crystals

Trying non responsive whenever he whistles
Sixth day receives CIF text with heart above
Piling on the futility
Divided hearts now rent
Once you used to say you loved my luminescence
Comes late, too often, with sorry bouquet
