Comeback Remark
You see me holding myself high
You just don’t know how much I want to die.
The pain has stabbed me in the heart
I can’t take another Remark
All you do sleep all day,
You work at night and we never play.
Like we did back in the day
We threw that baseball
And bailed hay.
Now you drink
And sit at home
Mom does everything at home.
I’m never there because I’m scared
You might beat me or make me scared.
So when I’m gone off to college.
You’ll sit at home with a broken heart.
And wonder why I left that remark.
