Come With Me

Give me your time and I will make this real
that you'll not be bored by self centered speech
To a small quaint restaurant we can steal
across the table thine hand I can reach.
If I then make this bold attempt will you
think me just a bad grasping simple leech?
No so, for my heart beats out tried and true
across the table thine hand I can reach.
Canst I, this time alone with you, address
our distant relationship ending breach
thus hoping gracious deity will bless
across the table thine hand I can reach.
Give me your time and I will make this real
across the table thine hand I can reach.
