Come To Me

Come to me
slide your body across the void
that separates
your heart from mine.
Let your clothes fade
away and off
like wisps of gossamer and steam.
Uncover your eyes and enter
into the circle of my arms,
I will hold you,
keep you safe from the
vicious world out there.
Give your dreams to me
for safe-keeping,
let me encircle them
in my warmth,
let me help them grow.
Press your lips to mine
feel the spark of light,
the sensation of wholeness
one cannot make alone.
Go from the secure
to the lovely and wild
and free
and let yourself fall, deeply.
Fly with me
to a land of unknowns,
press your life
into a shape yet unseen,
love me with abandon
and do not be afraid
that I will do the same.
Get swept away
by the sweet magic
that creates this heat,
this tension,
and give yourself up
to your desires.
Come to me,
fresh and new,
and do not have any fear
of new beginnings.
