Come Take Up Your Cross

As I sat within the Crowd
Watching a play
Jesus Resurrection

I saw on the faces of many
As tears came to my eyes
Little girl next to me cried
As my heart sank deeep inside

As a man.. Who portrayed Jesus
Was sold for some coins
They whipped and beat him
Tis ever so horrid

They then took Nails driven in both
His Hands and Feet
I sat there... tears ran down my checks
Watching this take place... within my seat

Thinking of how it had been
On The day... My Savior was Crucified
What they did to Him
What He went through
The Suffering the pain
Just so in this Life..
Us.. People.. Can Live with Him
Christ.. Our Lord

God Loved Us that much
That He gave His Only Son
To die.. On that Cross
For You and Me
So we can become Sin Free

What do you do for Jesus?
Come take up your Cross
Save Souls that are still Lost...
Come do it for Him... Jesus...
Out of the Love for them

Do what Jesus would do...
Forgive all others... With tender Love...
Shine Your God giving Light.. In someone's heart Tonight

Come to Jesus Christ
Receive Eternal Life
