Come Se Com Sa - Na-Nu Na-Nu

When I first arrived, everything seemed to be just wonderful
I would never imagine there would be so much beauty here
Everything appears so radiant and colorful
Yet, I have witnessed hatred, here, there and everywhere

I was never taught to hate or lie
And I was never taught to cuss or steal
I often wonder how it feels to cry
Are those tears fake or are they real?

When I arrived, at first, the warm air was welcoming and suffice
All the flowers, the mountains and deep blue seas
Were so picture perfect, everything looked so nice
With all the animals and birds and bees

But I just can't get my mind off of a quite a few things that I saw
Like the wars and the killings that some humans do
So many crimes- all types of people breaking the law
Everything seemed wonderful, well, that just isn't true

So, how do I feel, you asked, so I'll say
When I look up in the sky at the moon and the stars
I feel a little "Come se com sa" today
And I wish that sometimes I could just be back home, on Mars

With the sin of Adam and Eve, life became com se, com sa. All ten comandments were broken. Wars and Lust galore. Yet I pray for pardon. God will hear our prayers.

Very very clever. As I kept reading I got the feeling you might be an alien and I actually thought the type not of this world!

I love the kicker of the last line Charles and the whole Mork & Mindy vibe too. I often think many places feel like a perfect idyll at first but once you scratch the surface and pierce the veneer (ie lived there for a while) then you come to realise deep down most places are the same and have deep rooted problems. You can certainly count earth in that. :)
