Come Sail With Me

Come sail with
Me
Sail into my dreams
and
My nightmares

Taste the sweet and bitter wine
then get down on your knees
and snort a barking, rabid line

Explode with me
Into my dark, eternal heartache
Carefully dodge
The shadowy fakes
Ignore the false and cheap
Cries of I love you

Touch the magnificent
Slay the imposters
Tremble
As I take her crumbling virginity
A million times over

And yes
Thirty years on
I still love and adore her

Come sail with me
Cradle the babies
Taken from us
For whatever reason
Mother Nature decreed
Cradle our dear babies
From the depths of your soul

You will never
Never reach
The shores
Of my pain.
