Come Out Swinging

I watched my TV and I laughed
The boxing was really quite daft
They kept social distance
No punch met resistance
But one caught a cold from the draught

G’day Terry … been to amateur nights and witnessed your limerick so you had me grinning. One was a little scared and the other wasn’t game - thanks Terry - Lindsay

Hi Lindsay, your comment reminds me of a toy that was around when I was (much) younger. Two robots in a boxing ring and you had levers to make them punch each other. I was useless at it, so my robot was pretty much like one of your ‘air boxers’. Thanks for dropping in. Terry.

I’d heard rumours about you midweek swingers on the ‘I’ll ave a man’. Happy for you that they’ve eased restrictions... hmm... maybe those two sentences should be distanced somehow. Thanks for the ‘LOL’ Jan. Terry.

Hi Rico. I was gonna write an epic about socially distanced olympics... before I’d written a word I decided that was too daunting, so I settled for this. You might call it a TBA... A technical blow out. Cheers Rico. Terry
