Come Out of Her, My People

Come Out of Her, My People 
 
"Come out of her, my people," the Saviour gently calls, 
Before the final trumpet sounds, and Babylon surely falls. 
His love is strong and steadfast, relentless, deep, and true; 
He longs to save His children and make all things anew. 
 
Though many have departed, yet Babylon remains 
Within the hearts of loved ones, held captive by its chains. 
The world and church grow similar, the line is growing dim; 
God calls us to be holy, reflecting only Him. 
 
A judgment day is coming when every deed is known; 
Each soul shall stand before the King upon His glorious throne. 
No soothing words can save us while hidden sins remain; 
Repentance brings forgiveness and cleansing from all stains. 
 
God's faithful have been tested through suffering and strife; 
Some gave their very witness, surrendering their life. 
Like Stephen, full of courage, who gazed beyond the pain, 
He saw his risen Saviour and counted all as gain. 
 
Though prisons may await us, though rulers may condemn, 
Our hearts must still be anchored in Christ and trust in Him. 
For Jesus walks beside us through every fiery flame, 
And those who stand with courage bring honor to His name. 
 
Where sin has grown abundant, God's grace exceeds it still; 
His mercy flows forever to every seeking will. 
His body, bruised and broken, His blood poured out in love, 
Has opened wide the pathway to heaven's home above. 
 
The Holy Spirit leads us in every path of light, 
Transforming hearts to walk in truth and right. 
If we confess our failures, He washes every stain; 
He makes us new creations, forever to remain. 
 
So heed the Saviour’s pleading before the day is done; 
Choose Christ, the risen Lamb of God, His honorable and faithful Son. 
"Come out of her, my people," let every heart rejoice; 
For life, and hope, and victory are found in Christ alone.
