Come Out Devil Made Lester Would Often Say

Devil Made Lester was a crazy young guy
Insisted on this nickname, wrote it in the sky
Made his Christian mother blush,
And his sister-brother sigh.

Come out! Devil Made Lester would often said.
You have only one life, and then you’re dead.
Sister-brother was too shy.
Scared to tell she was a guy.
Weekend friends were the ones who called her Fred.

Devil Lester tried every trick
To make his brother come out quick
His sister-brother stayed in the dark.
Amazed at daring Devil Lester’s bark
