Come In, We'Re Open

Come in, we’re open!

When I enter the bar
And sit next to you
The smell of your breath
The sight of your brew
Remind me that I’m
Only human at all
And so I must stay
Until the last call
For lonely hearts to
beat once again
Where the neon sign
flashes we are open.

Nicely rhymed and expressed. Kind of sad feeling but who knows what the night will bring. Best of luck in the contest
