Come Here, My Dear, and Have No Fear
Come here, my dear, and have no fear
I’m Your fortress* from woeful stress
My love’s caress relieves distress
Offering cheer midst day that’s drear
To bless you well with good success.
Here’s my heart, Lord; strong trust, impart
Do brace me by Your mercy’s grace
For faith-work start, divinely smart
To win life’s race of evil trace
Shield me from sin-thwart and doubts’ dart
As Your truth rays brighten my praise.
*Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
