Come Have Some Coffee

sun sprinkles streak over the top of the water giving it a happiness it did not have at six a.m. the sun is waking up! a shrill voice says I turn and see a boy of about four walking the beach his following mother gives me an apologetic look “Hi!” I say, waving at her. "Come have some coffee." I had brought a cup for my husband but he is sleeping. we drink in silence listening to her joyful son.

Such a happening in your world would surely take place, Caren. I would love to share coffee with you. We'd probably wind-up having lunch and then dinner, too. Lots to chat about.
