Come Back To Us

Your heart has become so dark
No truths are spoken from your lips
You are only about yourself anymore
We wonder where has the real you gone

What happened to turn you so cruel
Asking to be forgiven again and again
Will you ever turn your life back around
Cling to the love that is given to you

Hold eye contact to your family lifeline
Know that we are here for you evermore
When we see you hurt we hurt even more
We love you more then you will ever know

You are hurting more then just yourself
Take a good look into your mirror dear
Ask yourself where the gentle you has gone
We pray you find her and her gentle heart

And when you find her once more
We pray you will come back to us
Our love for you continues to grow
This you should always remember

carol I seem to remember this one. Just read your comment on the blog about deleting poems and I really agree with you. It could not be good to delete the poems and then feel so sad about it. I sure hope you saved all your marvelous poetry to slowly add back up on here, dear!

This poem relates to someone I know. It is just a waiting game. Hope things improve for you soon. My person in question has a lot of baggage. I just pray and wait for talking is out of the question. Enough said here. May you soon find peace, XOXO Jancarl
