Come Back To Me

I felt the wind carry my heart away, Showing me pictures of yesterday, I couldn't help but cry and stare, The holy spirit took me there, He whispered, "Remember the love and innocence," Before the world stole everything that stands in between us, As my knees start to buckle, and my hands start to shake, My tears fall to the ground at this now empty place, I close my eyes to feel the wind rush through me, To recapture the memories of love I hold so dearly, You embrace me through the storm, you hold my heart in your hands, You brought my heart back to understand, Like a child starting all over again, Forgetting all the pain I've been through since then, Coming back to you through the eyes of a little girl, Remembering your love and a security I once knew, This body will eventually wither and die, But in your heart the love is still alive, Feeling the deepest love I know, Washing me white as snow, Bringing faith and love back, renewing my spirit, The heart that never left, the faith to run to it, In loving memory of the most beautiful woman I know... Jane Aldona Duryea My heart n soul...I love you, gram

A beautiful and loving tribute poem to someone who was obviously very dear to your heart. Really nicely done.
