Come Away
As we stand here together in the tall grass on this cool fall night.
We’ll keep each other warm with our love held deep inside.
Listening to the chatter from a stream soft like our voices in the air.
Along with this love felt so deep it couldn’t be clearer.
Slowly twirling your hair in my fingers as I gaze into your eyes.
Bound to one another as all these emotions feel so right.
Come away with me and we’ll leave the world behind.
Come away with me and we’ll forget the past and that of time.
Just kiss me once for you know I love you so much.
Just kiss me once for you know how I miss your touch.
Let me hear your voice call out to me.
Let me hear your voice as your all I will ever need.
For others heaven gets closer with each passing day.
I can see I’m living in it by being in your grace.
The moon is so bright as it smiles down at us as we walk hand in hand.
All the stars shining brightly, like yours upon this man.
I see such innocence about you like that of a child.
You’ve got the eyes of an angel with passion running wild.
Your fragrance alerts my senses as I draw you ever so nearer.
As I stand here with you now, you make all I see so much more clear.
So won’t you follow me to a place I’ve seldom known?
So won’t you follow me to let our love flourish and grow?
