Come As You Are

Weeping willows fill out days
Let your nights be sunrays
Upon your dark, brown, chocolate eyes
Ooooh, how time surely flies

How odd…hmmm…

How peculiar as it is…
You sit here in the abyss
I’m singing my old tunes
And you are like blue blooms,
Shining so bright
Tonight
Come as you are
Come as you are
I see a shining sun in your vibrant love
I see a shining moon in your dim hate
Come as you are
Come as you are
I see a dream within a dream
I can unsee a nightmare within a nightmare
When I’m with you…
You hadn’t a clue
Where your head’s at
I’m here like an independent cat
I can be your doormat
I can be your doormat
If you don’t put me in the back burner
I’ll be your future blur
You still seem unsure…
Can’t remember to forget you
Can’t recall the time I regretted being with you
Can’t believe I forgave you
Throughout these hardships; so, please…be true…
Come as you are
Come as you are
