Come and Find Me In My Solitude

I’ve been in complete seclusion since you left.
I’ve seen things...
Felt things...
I've needed things you couldn’t give.
I’ve been in complete seclusion since you left-
and now, my love, I find it hard to live.

I’ve felt the grandiosity of sincere isolation.
I’ve done things…
Regretted things…
Meddled in things with a passionate temper.
I’ve felt the grandiosity of sincere isolation-
but your scented neck I shall always remember.

I’ve bore the loneliness, like death calling.
I’ve created things…
Messed up things…
Mastered the art of solitude.
I’ve bore the loneliness, like death calling-
and now the confinement I wore has continued.

I’ve seen things,

done things-

regretted things…

I’ve lost all my courage, my strength in fortitude-
as I’ve mastered the art of complete solitude.

Wow Laura, the sadness and loneliness is pouring from your words today. This one touched my heart and created a small crack in it to allow these feeling to enter and be felt. Nicely expressed.
