Come and Find Me In My Solitude

Solitude all around. 'In there' I am lost; midst a thronging everywhere' Though I have never walked, a planet cold; a lonliness to me has talked, As a sea of silence surges, await I the breaking dawn of love & gentle urges, Imagining that they could come, outside of this indifferent lot; that is my sum.' Dim the light, and worn the day; I exist despite.. Evil times & trecherous ways, If only 'one' could break the doom, forbid the hold of this living tomb, But no.. No one I even guess.' Would warm me with true & safe caress's I've fallen down to lay alone, my future colder than a frozen stone.'

Isn't amazing how we all have our style of writing poems you have a rich vocabulary im watching tv this shooting has me upset i imagine your kid going to school and never coming back, My niece when she was a kid her bus left the school and ten minutes later a madman sprayed the  school with bullets, it was a Jewish school

I have heard of this terrible event Marc, I am concerned to hear of your understandable distress, I think we must do our best to write in a way that reflects the reality's of the world. And maybe help create a reality that reduces such things.'

This poem truly speaks to my soul Joe. As a matter of fact, I believe that this is the most poetic poem of yours that I've read, and it is now a FAV! Living a solitary life is extremely challenging, yet not unnatural or unfulfilling for those strong enough to learn from such a lifestyle. One cannot be happy in solitude until they endure the pain and sadness that you so beautifully express...J.A.B.
