Work is done, the day has gone, No more fake, phoney talk like a sham. No more fraudulent words, dripping with nice, No more selling a product, a scam. I’m alone and can shed these clothes filled with ice, Filled with lies disconnected from real. At home I meet my genuine, honest best friend, And share the way that I feel. Naked I stand and tell him my thoughts, The real thoughts from deep down inside. The thoughts I’ve often wanted to share, The same thoughts I’ve often denied. He visits me, every day, in my solitude state, And we talk to make everything clearer. He visits me when I’m all alone after work, When I stand and look in the mirror. 2nd December 2016 for Mystic Rose’ “Come and find me in my solitude” contest

Lewis, a lovely curving pitch you give, that lands smack dab in the middle of the strike zone. Cheers, Doug.
