Colours To Create

Colours to create, a beautiful scene
These primary ones, count one, two and three
Red, blue and green, from a prism of bright light
These mixed to make, any colour you like
Colours of the rainbow, always to share
Colours are beautiful, make us aware
Reflecting colours, upon them we stare
Creates a picture, wonderfully there
An artist painted, a rare landscape scene
Using red, blue and yellow, he’s so keen
This basic wheel, for colouring pictures
Standard palette, of six or twelve mixtures
They come in tubes, and their ready to use
Primary colours are there to amuse




Well I had A go, my first sonnet
