Colours Take Flight

Butterfly, butterfly, dancing so bright,
Your wings are a canvas, a wondrous sight.
Jewel-like colours in the air,
Fluttering freely without care.

From flower to flower, you gently sway,
Sipping sweet nectar throughout the day.
A living rainbow on the breeze,
Your beauty is sure to charm and please.

Once a caterpillar, crawling slow,
Now a marvel, putting on a show.
Metamorphosed to catch the eye,
A dazzling creature that can fly.

Butterfly, butterfly, pure delight,
Your colours shimmer in the morning light.
A joyful dance on fragile wings,
Your presence makes our hearts take wing.
