Colours Of Autumn

Autumn weeps green cascades,
bone chilled usher omen for blazing trail of hues,
as mint fades

 fall colours bloom,
singed red, golden flare, plum purple,
bright plume

sharp cold,
warm spells breed tints
bold

Autumn weeps green cascades,
singed red, golden flare, plum purple,
bold

There's a strong metaphor element with the vibrant colors that autumn brings—like red, gold, and purple—, Howard, it conveys the pure beauty of transformation.

We haven't gotten there yet, Howard. Just some touches of coloring with a lot of heat and little rain but at times high moisture in the air. I enjoyed reading this one. Way to go. 👏✍️. Sara K.

Howard. I really like how your last three lines came together. That's the trick is to make them cohesive sounding when you come to the end of the poem. Well done!
