Colours

COLOURS....

Everything on this earth
Has a colour....
Don't you think so ?
Be it a flower, a leaf, a vine,
or an animal.
Or, be it the way you feel
Or what you do.

The bees and birds and blooms pretty
Carry hues that no artist could create
Out of his magic palette of colours,
Try as he might !

Autumn brings a myriad of colours,
Painting all the leaves of trees around
In vibrant hues that leave you pondering
On the wonder of nature's magical hand.

When you are happy and feel like laughing,
You want to dance to the tune of colours
That twirl in your heart and soul,
Like the merry carousel at the carnival.

When you are angry and start to spit fire,
Then your face go red and orange with ire
Your words come fast and furious
To land your peace of mind in a quagmire!

The sadness that you feel,
which sometimes creeps upon you
without a pass,
Brings the colours of deadened spirits,
And would leave you wrung out like a worn rag.

Can you feel the.....
   the white of peace,
      red of anger,
          grey of sad desolation,
            blue of the blues,
               green of sustenance,
black of hate and all that is hated,
and the myriad colours of love ?

Colours are all around us,
They merge and twirl and sway,
All around us all the time,
Creating the dance, that is.... Life.
