Premiere Contest WinnerColours

Colours

In my head
are swirls of different colours,
A spiderweb of connected lines in
Constant
Erratic
Movement
I can stop it......only for seconds
I am learning to keep it still
There is too much,
The colours are taking over the space I need
To return to
Peace

Dear Tanis, at times like that you should strive to be color blind! Great poem my friend. Betty

They aren't very nice colors! To me, you just described being hit with #@*^% out of left field and anxiety overload has exploded in your mind and you know that peace will be awhile coming! Sorting and absorbing the 'colors' needs done first. All that is what I actually felt while reading your work - whether your intention or not. To me, that means your poem sure worked! All the best ... CayCay
