Colour

Cold, grey, dark, Those are the words I use to describe This life. Every time I open My eyes, I will see The same colours. Life was cruel to me, Am I just to be laughed at? So I pray this one time, Colour my World. As I walk along, Rain from the heavens, I bumped shoulders And found you. Your eyes, They were filled with Such colour. So please, Colour My World. I couldn’t believe it I ran and ran and ran But you can’t run From your soulmate. I met you again In a place of colour You blended in So perfectly. We smiled for a long time And eventually I could See all the colours, You’ve Coloured My World. It was like a rainbow, Which the cruel God Used unnecessarily, To hate me. It lasted for only A little while And eventually Everything turned back to grey. As I hold your hand tight And whisper nothings I smile because You Coloured My World.
